Former child star Ethan Jamieson—best known for his role in 2012’s ‘The Hunger Games’ with Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth—was arrested in North Carolina and charged with assault with intent to kill. The 27-year-old was taken into custody after officers responded to reports of shots fired on March 22 around 9:52 p.m., according to Lieutenant David Davis of the Raleigh Police Department. “Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who reported that an unknown suspect riding an e-bike had fired a shot at their vehicle while they were driving,” he said. “Two additional occupants were inside the vehicle at the time of the incident.” Detectives identified Jamieson “as the individual who discharged a single gunshot in the direction of the victims’ vehicle” and the actor was subsequently taken into custody March 23. Jamieson is facing three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, per Wake County Sheriff’s Office arrest records viewed by E! News. His court date is set for April 30.
