Emily Blunt Wears Rare $500,000 Body Necklace | Met Gala 2026 | E! News

The Devil Wears Prada 2 star Emily Blunt donned a head-turning necklace designed by Mikimoto when she attended the 2026 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City May 4. In addition to wearing a black coresetted top and slacks by Ashi Studio to honor the event’s “Fashion Is Art” dress code, the Oscar nominee arrived on the steps of the Met in a pearl body necklace worth $500,000. The rarely worn piece features thousands of Akoya pearls with a blinged out collar, which includes a 21.85-carat pear-shaped morganite surrounded by 45.97 carats of diamonds. “It was a lot of fun working with Jessica and deciding how we would interpret the theme this year," Emily said in a statement. "When we saw this extraordinary creation from Mikimoto, we knew it was perfect, it feels like wearable art and captures the idea of jewelry becoming part of the garment.”
